Super Power Island Walkthrough

Hello, readers! If you're new to Poptropica, and have only completed the first four walkthroughs on this site, how did you find 24 Carrot? Easy? Hard? In-between? The next island (number five) is Super Power Island. Ever wanted to be a superhero? Now you can!

A Hero? Pah!

When you arrive on Super Power Island, you will see nothing much, just like the Main Street of Time Tangled. But in reality, this island is in DEEP TROUBLE! Go into the Hero Costume and Mask Store, and you'll be able to customise yourself as a cool hero! Try to leave, and the shopkeeper will give you a card to certify you're a hero. Over to the left (you'll have to swim) there's a prison. Talk to the police officers and they'll tell you that a meteor smashed the wall and gave six supervillains superpowers! You'll get Anti-Power Handcuffs so you can take in the bad guys.

Dastardly Downtown Disaster

Go over to the right, past the officer on mainland and you'll be in Downtown. It's a wreck, and you'll find two of the villains here. There are three to the right, in the park, sewers and junkyard. The other villain is above you, high in the clouds. The villains you can catch at the moment are Copy Cat, Speeding Spike, Sir Rebral, Crusher and Ratman. Betty Jetty can fly, and you can't. Apart from her, you can catch whoever you want first.

Catch Copy Cat

Go inside the bank. Before you talk to her, go to the right and press the DOWN button on the elevator. Now talk to her, and she'll laugh, split into 10 copies of herself and set off a smoke bomb. Run towards the elevator and you'll tag 3 copies. Jump up onto the chandeliers and you'll catch two more. Rush into the elevator (that's why you called for it) and press UP. All five of the other copies are up there, and once you've tagged all ten of them, Copy Cat is caught.

Snap Speeding Spike

Spike's in the subway train. If you go down the tunnel you'll find him. Catching him is easy- just run to the left once he sees you and jump over him. Then run further, jump again- until he trips up on a puddle. Use your handcuffs while he's on the ground and Speeding Spike is snapped!

Stop Sir Rebral

The Sir is in the park, and he's using his telekinesis to destroy it. The first step is to jump up to him, and he'll throw a rock at himself. Then he'll throw a HUGE rock! Push it onto a spot where the ground pops up, and the Sir will slip and the handcuffs will make him stopped!

Rat Out Ratman

Go into your corresponding toilet to the right, (it won't allow you to go into the wrong loo, sorry, so no perving allowed) and go into the sewer hole. Spin the levers, enter the hatch, dodge the rats and get to the big steering wheel. Once you spin the wheel, you'll have to dodge the stinging bees and capture Ratman with the 'cuffs.

Crank the Crusher

Get out of the sewer and run right. Crusher's crushing (duh). Dodge him, get into the crane, and flip the switch. Go back up into the crane and flip the switch again and... lets just say that Crusher has Cranked up the Crushing too much and the little Cretin is Crushed!

A Little Something

Travel back to the Park and pick up a Hot Dog. Then keep going left until you find a tall building in Main Street. Climb up it and an old superhero will talk to you. If you go down into the phone booth, you'll get the power of flight!!!

Bash Betty Jetty

Now, using your flying power, go back into downtown, fly up the humongous building and BJ will taunt you. Then she will fly off. You must tag her without dying from her orbs and she'll fall down. Neddy'll push her and she'll slip. Handcuff her!

Hot Dogs Rule!

The police officer will say he gave Ned the medallion, 'cause he's the real 'hero'. BUT this can't be the end! Ned pushed Bet. Big deal. Luckily, if you give Neddy the hot dog, he'll give you an awesome medallion and 50 (why did they change it?) credits.

A Lament to Poptropica

A LAMENT TO THE 32 ISLANDS

Over the last few days, I have been going over all the last few Poptropican Islands. It is strange to think that once there was only one island; and that less than four years ago, there were only EIGHT!

Sometimes we forget about these old islands. They are just figures of the past, unwanted, and used. But really, they are more than that. They are milestones of Poptropica.

Now there are thirty-two islands on Poptropica, and 32 is a very special number. If you divide it by 2, it equals 16. If you divide that by 2, it equals 8; divided by 2, 4; divided by 2, 2; and then divided by two… you have a winning island!?!

So… I guess we should take the time from now until when the 33^rd island comes out to celebrate, and decide, once and for all… WHICH IS THE BEST ISLAND IN POPTROPICA?

MILESTONES

Here are some milestones of Poptropica:

2007, EARLY POPTROPICA: Early Poptropica, the first island ever, was created.

2008, ASTRO KNIGHTS: The first “boss battle” scenes ever! Also, Astro Knights is one of the oldest islands, but one of the hardest and most popular!

2010, SKULLDUGGERY: The longest island TO DATE. It is an extremely popular island and is regarded to some as the hardest island on Poptropica.

2010, THE DAILY POP: All of Poptropica was closed down in late 2010 for repairs. No one knew exactly what was going on, until… it RE-OPENED: with a new format! Your own Poptropican homepage, the Daily Pop, a new saving system and a great new store came out.

2012, POPTROPICA FRIENDS: Poptropica gained a new activity: friending. Now, you can become friends with other people, start Multiverse codes with them, and see what they’ve been up to.

2012, SUPER VILLAIN: The 30^th Island came out on Poptropica… with characters from other islands! In Reality TV (2009-10), you could go on a TV Show with them, but in Super Villain, you could actually go into their dreams and find out why they were so evil: giving a terrific back-story to Poptropica.

2013, ZOMBERRY: Yep, the 32^nd island is out, and, well, let’s just say that in the past six years, Poptropica got a whole lot better!
